Ahmet Benlialper
I am an Assistant Professor of Economics at Corvinus University of Budapest. I obtained my PhD from ESSEC Business School in 2024.
My recent work focuses on the impact of global financial markets on local monetary policy transmission and the influence of exchange rates on firm-level outcomes. I employ various forms of micro-level data along with financial time series data in my research. I also work on inflation dynamics and macroeconomic importance of exchange rates in emerging market economies.
I teach Intermediate Macroeconomics, Economics of Banking and Empirical Macroeconomics courses at Corvinus and previously taught International Finance at ESSEC.
